Erin has worked as a paediatric emergency physician in a tertiary paediatric ED for 8 years, and while she loves to provide care for individual patients she also enjoys work in organisational and statewide quality improvement. She completed a 12 month Patient Safety Fellowship with Safer Care Victoria in 2022 which provided significant human factors, improvement science and review methodology skills and training. She is passionate about changing the culture of healthcare to better incorporate the voice of patients and their families to assist clinicians to recognise deterioration.
