Dr. Kimberly Humphrey is an emergency medicine physician and public health practitioner, and a 2022-2023 Fellow in Climate Change and Human Health at Harvard University, dedicated to addressing the complex relationship between climate change and health. With advanced qualifications and extensive experience, Dr. Humphrey is an internationally recognized leader in advocating for climate-resilient healthcare systems. She is a Board member of Doctors for the Environment Australia and holds numerous national and international committee and board appointments in emergency medicine, public health, and climate change. Passionate about research in community and health system adaptation to climate change impacts, Dr. Humphrey promotes high-quality, low-carbon care and rethinking the status quo to create greener, healthier, and more equitable communities and cities. She believes addressing the causes and impacts of climate change is the most critical issue of our time and that climate solutions are health system solutions and can address many problems faced in emergency medicine.
