Simon Craig is a Paediatric Emergency Physician working at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne, Australia. He has a strong interest in clinical research, and is currently chair of the Australia/NZ PREDICT network and past chair of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine ED Epidemiology Network. He is an editor of the last two editions of the “”Textbook of Paediatric Emergency Medicine”” (Elsevier), the “”Paediatric Emergency Medication Book”” (originally developed in Australia, but now adapted for India and Latin America), and the recently-released “”Paediatric Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine for Low- and Middle-Income Countries”” (Thieme).
In his spare time he has recently completed a PhD in acute severe asthma, which has been conducted within the global Pediatric Emergency Research Networks (PERN).
