Sustainability is a vital mission for conferences in the modern world to heal the planet and empower ethical leaders. By embodying sustainable principles in every aspect of the event, we can create a positive impact, cherish our resources, and inspire attendees to embrace eco-friendly habits.
The ACEM ASM 2024 is making every effort to reduce the carbon footprint and ensure sustainability practices are being followed where possible:
Digital Satchels
ACEM ASM 2024 will not offer delegate satchels to reduce our waste to landfill.
Name badges
We encourage all delegates to return their name badges at the conclusion of the ASM so that they can be repurposed for other events.
Meeting app
We are proud that our Meeting app contains all the information about the program and the sponsors, eliminating the need for paper-based materials. Our app enables delegates to interact with each other and with the session facilitators through Q&A features. We strongly urge all delegates to install the app and politely decline any paper documents.
Travel
If you’re coming from interstate or internationally to join ACEM ASM 2024, we appreciate your efforts to reduce your carbon footprint. Many airlines have a simple way for you to offset CO2 when you book your flight.
