Hosted by Dr Greg Miller, two-time former President of the South Australia Branch of the Australian Dental Association and current Chairman of the Australian Dental Foundation, this comprehensive workshop explores all aspects of dental care relevant to Emergency Clinicians. During a three hour interactive demonstration on-site at the Harley Day Surgery, you will experience a masterclass in diagnostic techniques and emergent treatments.
The workshop will cover:
- dental anatomy and common dental terminology
- diagnostic methods and tips
- dental radiography
- management of dental pain
- management of dental infection
- management of dental trauma
There will also be practical and interactive demonstrations, including
- dental examination for Emergencies
- administration of dental anaesthesia
- repositioning and splinting of teeth
- temporomandibular joint reduction
- use of dental materials and equipment
There will be plenty of opportunity throughout the session for Q&A.
